From time to time the school is aware of parents and other members of the school community who may be involved in a charity venture and who would like the opportunity to publicise their charitable activity to the wider school community.

To assist communication the school wishes to provide the opportunity to publicise charity activity via the school website. There will be a time limit of 14 days for each charity hyperlink hosted.

Unite Against Cancer

Borneo 2013 Charity Bike Ride for Unite against Cancer

Former pupil, Hugo Drummond, is currently volunteering with educational charity, Project Trust, to teach English and Maths in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. Along with two fellow volunteers, John Haswell and Jason Lattimer, Hugo is training to cycle the length of the country in aid of 'Unite Against Cancer'. The route covers 1500km (the equivalent of the Uk plus a half) and will take them around 3 weeks to complete. They start on the 3rd July 2013.

Unite Against Cancer is a new Scottish registered charity (SC043017) set up in 2012 to fund research into pioneering cancer treatments.
